Nov. Update: Stevonnie Prints Available + New Art!
Hello everyone!
Wowzers! Much needed update for sure. I miss you all! I promise I've been working hard on new artwork. Just posted my new Stevonnie print that sold out at Kraken Con in September and are now available in My Store! Kraken Con was so awesome, btw, being on the USS Hornet was totally RAD!!!
With con season pretty much over a month ago, I actually spent most of my October participating in Inktober. What a ride! Please check them out on My Instagram. I actually completed all 31 days for the first time! Whew! Sure, I didn't draw anything for cons, but I got lots of practice with ink and created some much needed originals, more tha

I love to sleep, but no much can come out of that, rather than feel better or groggy after I wake up .
It's awesome that you were able to have such an opportunity to do something like go to Japan. I've been wanting to go there for many years. I had hoped to save up enough money one day and go with my cousin, as her dad was former military we would be able to go for a lower price. Unfortunately, I never was able to save enough, and my cousin used her money to get buy her mom's truck.
I still had hopes of going after I had a full-time job, but things would not turn out well there. Roommates only had part-time and didn't earn too much, and both ended up losing their jobs and 1 moved out. So I had to pay for almost everything. And in hopes of things looking better, I was fired early 2013. I had to survive on unemployment for 7 months, I left my apt by the end of September.
I was able to get a part-time job with Sears, and it was not a great place to work. Worst thing to happen while working there, I cut my hand, it required 17 stitches. I was fortunate that no major damaged happened to my hand. I was later terminated from that job on New Years Eve. Luckily my oldest brother and I got our current apt before October. Since I was without a job, I tried for unemployment again, but was denied. So I took to plasma donations, earning $65 a week. Been doing it since the new year.
Later, during April, I decided to try for my old full-time job again. Pre-employment test was passed with high scores. And then came the interview...I was not eligible for rehire. Since I was termed for attendance issues (I was getting sick a lot), I had to wait 3 years to be rehired, so far 1 year had passed. I was upset. But as luck would have it, the owners of the souvenir shop my oldest brother works at, offered me a job to work on Saturdays! I took it. During April, San Antonio has a city-wide (normally) 10 day event, was expanded to 2 weeks. So I had many days of work. After that Summer time hours happen, working 10am to 7pm, and my days are Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Those hours end come September 1st.
I now have to look for a second job to kinda make thing a bit easier for me as September now approaches. I hope to land something good. And hopefully have a full-time job again and start saving for many things, first of which, driving lessons. My brother has been trying to help me, though I still need more practice. Going to save up for a car, and lastly, save up for Japan again. And of course I do want a few little things, like a new bike, my last one was stolen while I was at a gym playing basketball. A new computer to build, this computer is almost 5 years old, and it's done it's job, but I need a new one, hopefully I can finally get to doing "Let's Plays" on it. And, a new tv, haha, as with my computer, my tv is almost the same age, and only a 32" 720p HDTV. I could use a 40+". Also my phone is getting there in age also, getting slow and has a crack in the glass, I look forward to the release of it's younger, bigger screened brother, the Galaxy Note 4, I own the first one!
Well that was a lot typed. Haha. But I kinda had to get that out. But still, I find it cool that you were able to do such a thing. Hopefully you get to fulfilling more of your dreams I know I am still working on mine
